DCA Quality Control

Quality Control Is Our Priority

To ensure the highest quality, all of our DCA (Sodium Dichloroacetate) is manufactured in a government inspected and licenced neutraceutical lab facility that follows the highest levels of GMP Standards.

Why is this important?

DCA is very sensitive to oxygen which means the environment in which it is manufactured must adhere to very strict guidelines and requirements.  Our DCA is made through a proprietary manufacturing process using an oxygen depleted environment, which is something you will not find from other companies.  The techniques and equipment used are a trade secret and are not available to the public.

Each bottle of DCA Powder contains 99% or higher pure pharmaceutical grade DCA and a desiccant packet that absorbs oxygen.  The desiccant packet helps to ensure that each bottle maintains it’s high level of potency.

To ensure our highest level of quality and our commitment to you, reports are submitted to the government inspection agency on a quarterly basis outlining our procedures and protocols.  Inspections are performed randomly and unannounced at all our facilities as well.

Every batch of our DCA is tested thoroughly to ensure quality and safety.

Testing Our DCA

  1. Microbial Testing:  Microbial testing is a laboratory test that checks for the presence of microorganisms in product samples.  This type of test ensures that a product is safe to distribute by confirming the product is clean and free from contaminants.  Lab and test equipment are also tested.
  2. COA (Certificate of Analysis):  COA Testing is performed to ensure product purity.  Every batch of DCA produced is tested and receives it’s own COA.  A COA test also checks other chemical properties, such as PH Levels and PPM readings.

Prior to 2015 all test results were posted and made available to the general public however after an overwhelming number of requests for information, the testing labs have asked us to no longer post their information.  Microbial and COA testing are performed by separate specialized labs, which are generally not accessible to the general public or designed for high volume inquiries.  Customers have had our DCA products tested at labs of their own choosing at their own expense (costs range between $200-$400 depending on the type of test performed), and have been amazed at the high level of purity, which only confirms our high standards and commitment to our customers.  Customers are welcome to have their orders tested at their own expense.  There are two types of tests that can be performed, please ensure the lab you choose understands the difference between them and which test to perform.
